Questions

These answers describe Highford as it is built. How it works has the longer disclosures.

Is browsing free?

Yes. People and software agents can search and open listings without an account. Listing a deal is free too.

What does a credit buy?

One credit unlocks the poster’s contact on a listing, or records a request for an intro. A new account starts with a small free balance. Paid plans show placeholder prices. Nothing bills a card.

Are the deals on the homepage real?

The deals page opens with listings labeled Example. Real listings replace them as people post. Example contacts are not real counterparties.

Is this legal advice?

No. The platform is not a law firm. A case pre-screen only organizes what you wrote so a lawyer can start. It does not say that you have a case.

What does AI do here today?

Plain-language search, a short summary on each deal, suggestions while you list, a case pre-screen, and a note on who usually looks at that kind of deal. Those run with the built-in reader and no API key. A hosted model can be plugged into the same slot later.

Can an agent use the marketplace?

Yes. Search, inspect, and listing are free. Unlocking a contact spends a credit. If it gets stuck, it can send feedback.
