How Highford works

This page describes Highford as it is built. It is not legal advice. Counsel should review it before it is treated as a formal disclosure.

A directory, not a deal desk

Highford is an information directory and a private venue. Someone lists a deal. Other people, and software agents, search the public teaser. Highford does not buy, sell, or negotiate the underlying deal.

Browsing and listing are free

Search, opening a public card, and posting a listing do not require an account or a card. The contact stays off the public card.

A credit pays for a conversation

One credit unlocks the poster’s contact or records a request for an intro. A new account starts with a small free balance. Prices on the pricing page are placeholders. Checkout is not connected, and this site does not bill a card.

Rooms stay private

The deal room is private by default. The owner approves a named email, or turns on instant access. An agent cannot skip that grant.

What this is not

Highford is not a law firm, broker-dealer, lender, or placement agent. It does not charge a success fee. Nothing here is legal advice or an offer of securities. A case pre-screen only organizes what a person wrote. It does not say that they have a case.

What the data is

A live listing is what the poster chooses to share. The opening book also contains labeled examples. Public-record signals in those examples are illustrations. Names from a docket stay off the public card.

Participation is voluntary

Listing, browsing, unlocking a contact, and requesting access are voluntary. A poster can leave a draft unpublished, and can decide each access request.

Judgments and awards come first

The feed leads with judgment enforcement and arbitration awards. Plaintiff-side litigation, businesses for sale, and startups raising follow.
